CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (EVENING SHIFT)
About The Position
Masonicare Health Center is a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA follows each resident’s or patient’s treatment plan, which is designed to address their age, needs, and abilities. This includes assisting with meals and nourishment, transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. The role is for the evening shift, 32 hours per week, with every other weekend required. Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
