About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides in-home care to seniors in their residences. The role includes personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities. This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling based on client needs and the caregiver’s availability. Service areas include El Reno, Yukon, Mustang, Bethany, Oklahoma City, and Northwest Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Travel to client locations may be required.

Requirements

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Oklahoma.
High school graduation or GED preferred.
Six months of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting, in homes or facilities.
Successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
Interpersonal relations abilities.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional attitude.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.
Reliable transportation to client locations.
Ability to complete required background checks and onboarding requirements.
Availability for on-call shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in senior care, home health, or caregiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation.
Observe and report changes in clients’ health and overall well-being.
Follow individualized care plans and established safety procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Accept available shifts based on client needs and the caregiver’s availability.
