CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
Miller's Health Systems is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide basic care to patients and assist them with daily activities. The CNA observes patients for changes and promptly reports them to the nursing team, and collects and records information relevant to patients' conditions and treatment. The position may also serve as a first step toward a nursing career. Applicants should be certified in the State of Indiana, passionate about serving others, able to work with a dedicated team, and maintain a professional appearance and behavior. Candidates must meet the basic qualifications set by the Indiana Department of Health, complete the Basic Aide Training Course, and satisfactorily pass a physical examination administered for facility employment. The role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
Requirements
- Be certified in the State of Indiana.
- Meet the basic qualifications set forth by the Indiana Department of Health, including being able to read, write, and perform simple mathematics such as addition and subtraction.
- Successfully complete the Basic Aide Training Course.
- Satisfactorily pass a physical examination administered for gainful employment in the facility.
- Be passionate about serving others.
- Be able to work with a dedicated team.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
