About The Position
Macas Homecare is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide daily living and personal care services in a client's home in Fort Washington, Prince George's County, Maryland. The caregiver will provide care and assistance in accordance with the client's established care plan. The schedule is once a week, with the possibility of increasing hours and days, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (8 hours per day). The listed start date is ASAP.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with transfers and Hoyer lifts is extremely favorable.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with eating.
- Assist with bathing and showering.
- Assist with grooming and dressing.
- Provide incontinence care.
- Assist with ambulation.
- Provide transfer assistance, including extensive physical assistance or use of a mechanical lift as required.
