CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (NIGHT SHIFT)
About The Position
The CNA performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA follows each resident’s or patient’s treatment plan, which is designed to meet their age, needs, and abilities. Duties include assisting with meals and nourishment, transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. Masonicare Health Center is a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

- Assist with meals and nourishment.
- Transfer residents or patients using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices.
