About The Position
The CNA performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA follows treatment plans designed to meet each resident’s or patient’s age, needs, and abilities. Duties include assisting with meals and nourishment, transferring residents using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. The position is at Masonicare Health Center, a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. The schedule is nights, 24 hours, every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
