About The Position

Adoration Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice CNA to provide compassionate, in-home hospice care to patients in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, covering Williamson and Rutherford counties. The role provides dignity, comfort, and support to patients and families during a critical time. The position is PRN, as needed, and offers flexible scheduling, independent work with team support, and one-to-one patient care.

Requirements

• Meet the training requirements of the state of practice.
• At least six months of experience, including providing personal care.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Complete at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training; 16 classroom hours must be completed before the required 16 hours of practical training.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification in states where required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care provided.
• Understand hospice philosophy and be comfortable providing specialized care to terminally ill patients.
• Ability to work with little direct supervision.
• Ability to handle death and dying.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and repositioning.
• Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, range-of-motion exercises, and safe equipment use.
• Assist with self-administered medications in accordance with state regulations.
• Offer companionship and emotional comfort to patients and families.
• Perform light housekeeping, including changing linens, assisting with meals, and maintaining a clean space.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team.
