About The Position
White Pine Senior Living is seeking a CNA/Caregiver for its Cottage Grove II location. Caregivers work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. The role offers an opportunity to support residents and make a positive impact in their daily lives. No experience is necessary; paid training is provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- No experience necessary; paid training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents in reaching and maintaining the highest possible level of performance and independence while helping with personal care and daily living activities.
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
- Document services performed.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional conditions.
- Assist with personal care, including shampooing hair, showering or bathing, incontinence management, transferring, and medication administration.
- Communicate and interact professionally, respectfully, and kindly.
- Communicate with and assist residents with dementia or related diagnoses.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
