About The Position

White Pine Senior Living is seeking a part-time CNA/Caregiver for its Inver Grove Heights I location. The role works as part of a team to provide exceptional care and service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. Caregivers support residents in reaching and maintaining their highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities. The position is on-call during the NOC shift. No prior experience is necessary; paid training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency required.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
No experience necessary; paid training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities to help them reach and maintain the highest possible level of performance and independence.
Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
Document services performed.
Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition.
Assist with personal care, including shampooing, showering or bathing, incontinence management, transfers, and medication administration.
Communicate and interact professionally, respectfully, and kindly.
Communicate with and assist residents with dementia or related diagnoses.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
