CNA/Caregiver (Part Time, AM or PM shift)

About The Position
The CNA/Caregiver at Sagewood at Daybreak delivers quality care by encouraging residents’ independence and supporting their physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being. The role includes helping residents with everyday needs, providing companionship, responding to emergencies, documenting care, and contributing to current individual service plans. Available shifts are 6 a.m.–2 p.m. or 2 p.m.–10 p.m.
Requirements
- Complete a nursing assistant course.
- Meet state training requirements and/or certification requirements.
- Bring a positive attitude and be a team player.
- First Aid certification and CPR if required.
- A nursing assistant certification (CNA) is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
- Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed.
- Supervise or assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities.
- Provide companionship and develop strong relationships with residents.
- Respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures.
- Document care provided to residents.
- Provide input to help keep residents’ individual service plans current.
- Regularly review 24-hour reports and care checklists.
