Caregiver Full/ Part time AM & PM Shift
About The Position
The Cottages is a small, home-like senior living community focused on helping seniors live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Caregivers provide attentive, compassionate support and companionship to residents. Experience is preferred but not required; industry-leading training is provided, with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the company. The schedule may be full-time or part-time, with AM and PM shifts. Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of reference checks, drug screening, and background screening. Requirements
- Have a great attitude, compassion, and a sincere desire to help others.
- Be able to take direction, follow rules exactly, and act proactively and thoughtfully.
- Successfully complete a criminal history check.
- Pass a post-offer drug test.
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Be at least 17 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrate care and compassion, reliability, dependability, maturity, agility, sincerity, timeliness, trustworthiness, and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with hygiene and grooming, including bathing and dressing.
- Provide medication assistance or serve as a medication technician.
- Monitor residents and support their safety.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility.
- Do laundry.
- Provide joyful companionship.
