About The Position
Lake Port Square is seeking a hospitality-minded Certified Nursing Assistant to join its Assisted Living team. Requirements
- Successfully complete a State-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
- Hold active C.N.A. certification in the State of Florida.
- Understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Be able to document care given.
- Complete a Level 2 Background Screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercise.
- Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures, and collect specimens as instructed.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
- Answer signal lights promptly.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
- Maintain safe and sanitary workstations and equipment.
- Encourage resident independence and participation in activities, restorative programs, and rehabilitation.
- Attend assigned in-service training and education sessions.
- Perform other specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.
