About The Position

AbriCare is a mission-driven personal care services organization helping seniors and adults with disabilities live safely and independently at home. The CNA / APC Caregiver provides essential personal care and individualized support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. The role serves North Kansas City, Missouri, and surrounding areas. Part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling and competitive hourly wages. Starting pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or APC (Advanced Personal Care) certification.
• Compassionate and reliable nature.
• Dedication and willingness to learn.
• Reliable transportation plan.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Working smartphone for time and attendance usage.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Complete essential shopping and errands; transporting clients is not included.
