About The Position

The Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing all maintenance activities within the Maintimizer CMMS to support reliable operations and maximize equipment uptime. This role schedules preventive maintenance, work requests, and work orders; facilitates weekly coordination meetings with departments; and ensures timely assignment and execution of maintenance work. The Scheduler tracks and analyzes maintenance performance metrics, maintains accurate CMMS data, and develops training and reference materials to support effective system use. Working closely with maintenance teams, leads, and management, this position drives continuous improvement of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and overall maintenance efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in training, technical documentation, or manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to gather, organize, and present information in a clear and structured manner.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational follow-through.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework in education, communication, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, trades, or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with documenting safety, operations, or technical processes.
  • Understanding of maintenance workflows.
  • Experience with Maintimizer Software.
  • Experience working in continuous improvement environment

Responsibilities

  • Schedule all maintenance events to include PMs, WRs, and WOs within Maintimizer (CMMS).
  • Conduct weekly meetings to align schedule with departments to accomplish PMs on time.
  • Convert WRs to WOs and assign personnel.
  • Establish communication with Maintenance Team Lead(s) to reduce lag time from WRs to deployment of repair services.
  • Track various metrics including, MTBF, MTTF, MTTR, MTTD, MTTI.
  • Train personnel on Maintimizer functions at various levels of the company.
  • Keep Maintimier training and guidance resources current by adding attachments for PMs including pictures, PPT, videos, SOP, work instructions and other information.
  • Ensure data entry in Maintimizer is accurate including time, cost and inventory.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members, leads and management to identify opportunities improve TPM and increase uptime.
