About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a CMMS Technician to join our team in Greenfield, IN. This role involves performing administrative activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including documenting asset attributes, preventive maintenance schedules, job tasks, and spare parts information. The technician will also develop and maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs, respond to customer inquiries by entering work requests into the CMMS, and provide necessary information. Additionally, the role includes training less experienced staff on CMMS usage, administering supporting software, developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and preparing monthly reports on facility-related performance measures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • 1 or more years of experience with data entry
  • 1 or more years of experience with TMS (total maintenance system)
  • 1 or more years of experience with archiving

Responsibilities

  • Perform computerized maintenance management system administrative (CMMS) activities including documentation of asset attributes, preventive maintenance schedules, job tasks and spare parts information
  • Develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs
  • Respond to customer inquiries by entering work requests into the CMMS, gathering information about the services needed and/or provide the requested information.
  • Train and advise less experienced staff on skills improvement regarding the CMMS
  • Administer software that is in direct support of assigned systems.
  • Develop, implement and maintain departmental and company SOP’s, P&P’s and CMMS job tasks.
  • Utilize computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Access as well as project specific websites, and CMMS software
  • Identify, collect and report facility related performance measures that support the strategic objectives of the FM department.
  • Prepare monthly report on activities for management.
  • Interact professionally with facility staff and customers.
  • Attend mandatory training as required
  • Other related duties as assigned.
