About The Position

Constellation is the largest private-sector power producer in the world and the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable energy. The Senior Maintenance Scheduler (Daily/Outage) is responsible for the development and control of the discipline schedules, balancing workload with available resources, with an emphasis on schedule consistency and workability to support meeting On-line and Outage indicators. This role involves successfully maintaining accurate schedules throughout development and execution, and updating and publishing the discipline schedule as required. The role may be filled by either a Senior Maintenance Scheduler or Maintenance Scheduler at Crane CEC in Middletown, PA.

Requirements

  • Senior Maintenance Scheduler: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 5 years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED with 7 years of related experience
  • Maintenance Scheduler: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience OR Associate’s degree with 3 years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED with 5 years of related experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Nice To Haves

  • Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Background and Experience
  • Previous experience with scheduling, planning, and/or executing field work windows
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Prior experience with Primavera P6 (preferred) or other scheduling software
  • Basic Power Plant System Knowledge
  • Ability to initiate contract requisitions
  • P-6 knowledge
  • Experience with Maximo/Passport software

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, develop and Update discipline schedules to ensure an accurate product for use in effective planning, resource allocation, parts acquisition, and schedule execution.
  • Develop detailed accurate and usable schedules and report to provide effective management tools for execution and feedback.
  • Attend scheduling meetings to ensure pre-planning, implementation, and schedule critiques are effective in developing continuous product improvement.
  • Assist in the development of work windows and contingency plans, by working with Work Week Managers, Project Manager and Cycle Schedulers.
  • Assist assigned department with traveler requests and tracking.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
