About The Position

Galloway Company is seeking a CMMS Implementation Intern to assist with implementing and rolling out MaintainX, its new Computerized Maintenance Management System. The role combines hands-on work in a manufacturing environment with computer-based data management and system implementation. The intern will work closely with Maintenance personnel to collect, organize, verify, and enter equipment, preventive maintenance, spare parts, inventory, and technical documentation into MaintainX. This opportunity is intended for a student interested in technology, manufacturing, equipment, organization, and problem-solving who wants to contribute to a plant-wide system implementation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing, maintenance technology, information systems, operations, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to monitor and coordinate activities in a collaborative, highly regulated environment.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, spreadsheets, and mobile technology.
• Willingness to work both at a computer and on the manufacturing floor, gathering information from equipment, parts, manuals, and maintenance personnel.
• Ability to create, read, and interpret P&IDs and other instructional documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; curiosity, self-motivation, and willingness to ask questions.
• Interest in manufacturing equipment, maintenance, technology, or software implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and rollout of the MaintainX maintenance management system.
• Collect, validate, and organize equipment, maintenance, and asset data.
• Conduct equipment audits, verify asset information, and upload photos, manuals, and documentation.
• Assist with equipment hierarchy development, preventive maintenance programs, and spare parts database management.
• Support QR code deployment, inventory verification, and maintenance workflow setup and testing.
• Create reports, dashboards, and training materials, and provide rollout support to end users.
