About The Position
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Lincoln Center-Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: Rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, performing point of care testing, immunization and other injections, assisting in a fast paced clinical setting, and cross-train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
