Position Description McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Lincoln Center-Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include: Rooming patients, taking vitals and patient history, performing point of care testing, immunization and other injections, assisting in a fast paced clinical setting, and cross-train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.

Requirements

Graduate of accredited program for Medical Assistants
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Possession of current State Licensed Practical Nurse license
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

Rooming patients
Taking vitals and patient history
Performing point of care testing
Immunization and other injections
Assisting in a fast paced clinical setting
Cross-train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.
