The Cluster Substitute is a full-time member of the UP Academy Dorchester staff who provides daily classroom coverage as needed to maintain consistency in academic programming. The role also includes regular duties similar to those of lead teachers. Cluster Substitutes participate in ongoing professional development and receive coaching from instructional leaders.
