About The Position

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Cloud Support Administrator to join its team in Laurel, Maryland. The role supports hybrid cloud infrastructure operations, incident response, and AWS-related customer service. The administrator troubleshoots complex issues across Linux and Windows environments, collaborates with engineering teams, and helps enterprise and government customers achieve seamless cloud integration and support.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or five additional years of experience in place of a bachelor’s degree.
Zero years of experience required with the qualifying bachelor’s degree.
Possess one active entry-level cloud certification (such as Azure, AWS, or OpenStack), or obtain one before the start date.
Security+ certification.
Current and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Reserved Instances and Cost Saving Plans.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for internal teams, resolving issues related to routing, security protocols, access control, transit gateway configurations, and other areas.
Provision and support customers’ AWS workload accounts to enable continued operation of critical analytical systems.
Help users access and use cloud-based resources.
Serve as the technical point of contact between the customer and the Architecture and Capacity Engineering teams.
Keep relevant documents current and update Wiki and SharePoint knowledge bases.
Support escalation and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
Diagnose, resolve, and track complex support cases through ServiceNow, phone, and email channels.
Provide Tier 1 help desk problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution for Windows and/or Linux systems.
Provide rotational on-call support, which may be required 24/7/365.
