Cloud Security Engineer (Mid)
About The Position
Interclypse is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support Maryland state agencies in modernizing and sustaining critical systems. The role implements, manages, and monitors security for customer cloud environments; configures and maintains cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and other cloud-native security services; and works with development teams to implement secure configurations and remediate cloud vulnerabilities. Requirements
- At least five years of IT experience focused on cloud computing or cybersecurity.
- At least three years of hands-on experience securing enterprise environments in AWS or Azure.
- Experience with infrastructure as code.
- Hold at least one cloud security certification, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
