About The Position

As a cloud computing infrastructure architect on the team, you will use enterprise cloud platforms to support clients modernizing IT infrastructure and meeting mission needs, including modernizing Air Force Critical Cloud Environments. You will collaborate with cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, and AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. Within a DevOps framework, you will create and manage container applications and use products such as Kubernetes. You will work with teammates and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions, modernize legacy computing platforms and applications, and develop new solutions. Internal Azure and AWS labs and training are available to help build skills and explore approaches to client problems.

Requirements

• Experience with scripting or automation tools.
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud fundamentals.
• Knowledge of networking, Linux systems, and container basics such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Ability to follow engineering procedures and security requirements.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices.
• Cloud certifications such as Azure or AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
