About The Position

This position is for a Cloud Engineer / Full Stack Developer 2 (SWE2) requiring a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. The role involves developing software using Python or Java, with experience in data modeling, web-based server applications, and interfacing with relational databases. The engineer will also develop task automation using the AWS API, work with periodic or streaming data, and utilize Linux and shell scripting. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing data processing workflows and optimizing data structures for storage and retrieval using JSON, YAML, or NoSQL databases.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field and 14+ years of experience with general software engineering in a Linux environment, or 18+ years of experience with general software engineering in a Linux environment in lieu of a degree.
TS/SCI Clearance - Polygraph required

Nice To Haves

Experience with unstructured databases, including Mongo or Elasticsearch, and graph databases, including Neo4J.
Experience with implementation of test environments for automated code validation.
Experience working with containers.
Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and tooling, including Terraform.
Experience with mono-repo architecture and tooling.
Experience with Web page design in JavaScript, Angular, or Python Shiny.
Experience developing pipelines using the AWS API, to include Lambda and Step functions.
Knowledge of network protocols such as NMP or BGP.
Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and team-oriented environment and balance long- and short-term taskings.

Responsibilities
