AWS/Java Full Stack Developer
About The Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on development expertise, cloud architecture knowledge, and the ability to independently drive complex implementation initiatives. The role involves working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and leading development efforts across modern cloud and data platforms. The successful candidate will develop and support applications using Java, TypeScript, DB2, and Snowflake, and will bring hands-on AWS Cloud experience. They will contribute to infrastructure deployment, environment configuration, testing, and resilient, highly available architectures. The role also uses AI-assisted development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive implementation initiatives.
- Strong experience developing and supporting applications using Java, TypeScript, DB2, and Snowflake.
- Hands-on AWS Cloud experience, including Airflow, ECS Fargate, Lambda, and Aurora.
- Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure deployment, environment configuration, testing strategies, and resiliency/high-availability architectures.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
