Cloud Developer - Data Platform

ExodusPoint Capital is seeking a candidate to join their Enterprise Data group, which is responsible for building a robust data platform to support investment teams and internal clients. The role involves collaborating with engineering and public cloud teams to implement a large-scale platform using AWS serverless and big data technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and delivering data platform software capabilities on the AWS cloud. A master's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with advanced knowledge of database concepts.

• Be part of large-scale platform implementation, leveraging latest AWS serverless and big data technologies.
• Collaborate with larger engineering and public cloud teams on design and development.
• Design, document, code, test and deliver data platform software capabilities on AWS cloud.
• Communicate with stakeholders on project deliverables.

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Advanced knowledge of database concepts, including OLTP and OLAP
• Experience with large-scale platform implementation using AWS serverless and big data technologies
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and public cloud teams on design and development
• Proficiency in designing, documenting, coding, testing, and delivering data platform software capabilities on AWS cloud
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders on project deliverables

• Experience in developing containerized applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS native data and compute technologies (S3, Lambda, Glue, DataSync, EMR, Athena, Lake Formation, Kinesis, etc.) is a plus
• Initial salary expected to be between $100,000 and $175,000 (may vary depending on factors such as knowledge, experience, and skill set)
