About The Position

SAIC is seeking an experienced mid-level Database Administrator to manage and optimize Oracle and NoSQL databases. The project uses Oracle RDS and AWS-managed databases, including PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, and MongoDB. The role also supports Oracle production issues and includes carrying the Oracle duty phone on a rotating basis. The position is hybrid, with on-site visits in Ashburn, Virginia, one day per week and when mission needs require. An on-call schedule may require travel to a datacenter site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and hold a public trust position, subject to favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation.

  • Programming experience and ability to maintain, enhance, and develop tools; experience with languages such as C++, PL/SQL, Python, and Java.
