About The Position

The Cloud Channel Manager will be responsible for the day to day sales support and customer service activities for Microsoft. This role involves leveraging the Arrow Value Proposition to acquire and develop new customers, defining critical markets, planning strategy, and developing key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling. The position requires maintaining and promoting relationships with customer contacts, ensuring customer satisfaction related to supply chain management and value-added services, and interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment. The role demands an extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry, the ability to develop strategic plans for assigned accounts, and to sell and market Arrow's offerings with in-depth knowledge of key supplier lines. A key responsibility is preparing comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBRs) and presenting strategic plans to grow sales, demand creation, and improve customer service. The Cloud Channel Manager will also lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities and promote Arrow's value-add, supply chain, and full lifecycle programs. Proficiency in sales tracking systems like SalesForce.com and Oracle, and the ability to build relationships with key suppliers are essential. This job profile requires participation in a sales compensation plan with a variable portion tied to specific sales-related goals.

Requirements

  • Experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.
  • Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.
  • Comprehensive ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market full set of Arrow offerings incorporating in-depth knowledge of Arrow’s key supplier lines.
  • Proficiency in sales tracking systems, SalesForce.com, Oracle.
  • Experience working in IT Channel Sales.
  • Knowledge of how to work with Microsoft.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure strong foundation for solution selling.
  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and deal with existing business challenges.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value added services.
  • Develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market full set of Arrow offerings incorporating in-depth knowledge of Arrow’s key supplier lines.
  • Prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, demand creation and improve customer service.
  • Lead regular QBRs with major customers that unlock additional sales opportunities.
  • Promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow.
  • Establish and ability to build relationships with key suppliers.
  • Focus on growing and developing new business, proactively calling and engaging partners to grow sales for Microsoft.
