About The Position

Centric Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead technical architecture and strategy for an OT Cybersecurity Enhancement Program. The role defines and maintains OT cybersecurity reference architectures, standards, and design principles across manufacturing environments, and oversees technical architecture and implementation strategies for Backup & Recovery, Network Segmentation, and Visibility & Monitoring initiatives. The architect ensures solutions align with the Purdue Model, NIST CSF 2.0, ISA/IEC 62443, and enterprise security standards. The role evaluates technologies and develops reference designs that strengthen cyber resilience while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. It reviews technical designs, architectural exceptions, and implementation approaches, and advises OT Cybersecurity leadership, Plant Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders throughout planning, design, deployment, and transition to operations. The position is classified as temporary (W2T) or contractor (1099), is hybrid, and has 10% travel expectations. Centric describes a collaborative consulting culture and notes that benefits eligibility may vary for roles that are not full-time.

Requirements

Strong background in cybersecurity architecture and technical leadership.
Knowledge of manufacturing and industrial environments and the unique requirements of operational technology (OT) systems.
Familiarity with the Purdue Model, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0, and ISA/IEC 62443 standards.
Experience developing cybersecurity architectures, reference designs, technical standards, and implementation strategies.
Ability to evaluate security technologies and design solutions that balance cybersecurity, operational reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
Ability to collaborate across cybersecurity, plant technology, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure teams.
Skill in reviewing technical designs, guiding implementation decisions, and ensuring solutions align with established standards and program goals.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture and strategy for the OT Cybersecurity Enhancement Program.
Define and maintain OT cybersecurity reference architectures, standards, and design principles across manufacturing environments.
Oversee technical architecture and implementation strategies for Backup & Recovery, Network Segmentation, and Visibility & Monitoring initiatives.
Ensure cybersecurity solutions align with the Purdue Model, NIST CSF 2.0, ISA/IEC 62443, and enterprise security standards.
Evaluate technologies and develop reference designs that strengthen cyber resilience while maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
Review technical designs, architectural exceptions, and implementation approaches to ensure alignment with program objectives and security requirements.
Serve as the primary technical advisor to OT Cybersecurity leadership, Plant Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance throughout program planning, solution design, deployment, and transition to operations.
