Sr. Enterprise Cloud Architect
About The Position
As an Architect II, you will work directly with clients, conduct technical training sessions on GitHub Copilot and its platform, conduct technical assessments, and lead hybrid software development teams. The role includes hands-on work in application modernization, migration, AI solutions, DevOps, and cloud practices. You will contribute to technical pre-sales through early discovery calls to understand client needs and by preparing technical estimates, proposals, and technical contract terms. The position focuses on designing Azure cloud solutions, modernizing applications, developing AI-enabled applications, and applying agentic software development patterns. The role is fully remote.
Requirements
- 10+ years of total industry experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering and programming experience.
- 3+ years of experience as an architect.
- 4+ years of professional hands-on experience with a public cloud provider.
- Passion for technology and learning.
- Willingness to collaborate with strong technical teams to build complex client solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing scenarios.
- Demonstrable experience and expertise in several of the listed cloud architecture, application modernization, AI, and agentic development areas.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Azure experience is preferred.
- Additional knowledge of AWS and/or GCP is highly valuable.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients and conduct technical assessments.
- Conduct technical training sessions on GitHub Copilot and its platform.
- Lead hybrid software development teams.
- Perform hands-on application modernization, migration, AI solutions, DevOps, and cloud work.
- Contribute to technical pre-sales, including early client discovery calls.
- Create technical estimates, proposals, and technical contract terms.
- Architect Azure solutions that leverage cloud-native services, provide security and scalability, and align with client requirements.
- Migrate and modernize on-premises applications to cloud platforms.
- Design and create AI-enabled applications and integrate Azure AI Services.
- Educate clients about the advantages of agentic software development and identify ways to improve internal process efficiency.
