About The Position

Brown Jug is a premium retailer of wine, beer, and spirits, offering a friendly atmosphere and energetic work environment. The Closing Sales Lead engages customers, provides high-quality customer service, and helps educate them about the products Brown Jug offers. This position assists the closing shift at the Brown Jug Tudor Store (213), located at 3561 East Tudor Road. The pay rate is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, with educational-based pay increases that can raise the hourly rate to over $30.00. The offered rate depends on experience, qualifications, location, market data, and other business considerations. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and sales staff.
Knowledge of or interest in wine, beer, and/or spirits.

Nice To Haves

Retail sales experience or related customer service training is a plus.
An Alcohol Server Card; it can be obtained after a job offer.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and engage them in conversation to identify their shopping needs.
Recommend additional items to customers to build the basket.
Answer customer questions and resolve their concerns.
Motivate and energize sales associates to focus on great customer service.
Educate customers about company initiatives, including current sales and features, Brown Jug-exclusive products, and offerings such as the wine club.
Help keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and tagged.
Support the store management team as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
