About The Position

This entry-level team member role provides customer service at a Meijer gas station. The position is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude, while supporting retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising. The posting also describes stocking-clerk work: stocking food and grocery products, moving items to shelves, handling backstock and waste, and maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas. Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude.
Stock shelves with food and grocery products.
Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
