About The Position

This entry-level team member position is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The Stocking Clerk performs retail tasks related to products, customer service, and merchandising, helping keep the store ready for customers. The role stocks food and grocery products, moves merchandise from pallets or carts to shelf locations, handles backstock and designated back-room waste, and works with leadership to complete assigned areas on time. It also involves maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, interacting respectfully with customers when needed, and working overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. Team members may support other operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

Comfort learning and using basic technology.
Ability to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
Ability to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves with food and grocery products.
Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
