About The Position

This entry-level team member position is responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role involves a variety of retail tasks related to products, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising, with additional tasks as needed in collaboration with other team members and managers. The position may apply to departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.

Requirements

Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communication skills, both face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and willingness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

Build rapport with customers and maintain a friendly, outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Answer customer questions or direct customers to another team member who can help.
Stock products and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
Use technology to complete activities and tasks.
Complete retail tasks related to products, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising.
Collaborate with team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
