About The Position

Jah Favorite Pizza is seeking a Closing Delivery Driver to deliver orders and perform general store team-member duties. The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career growth, including advancement to management. The stated working-hours range is “4pm - 1pm,” and applicants must be able to work weekends. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. In addition to driving, the position includes operating store equipment; stocking, preparing products, and processing orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. The job involves working in varying weather and store temperatures, handling food and supplies, and performing physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasionally climbing stairs or a ladder.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have held a valid driver's license for at least one year and have a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to reliable, insured transportation that can be used for deliveries.
Must have navigational skills to read maps, locate addresses, and navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing to work in bad weather conditions and able to work weekends.
Must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly and make correct monetary change.
Must have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Must have the motor coordination to make precise movements rapidly and accurately and be able to enter orders by keyboard or touch screen.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, and make judgments and decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver orders within the designated delivery area.
Operate store equipment and stock ingredients and supplies in storage and work areas.
Prepare products and receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
Communicate with customers and coworkers in person and by telephone to process orders.
Make monetary change and enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Unload and move deliveries, including lifting and stacking cases of ingredients and supplies.
Perform outside tasks such as removing trash.
