About The Position

Meijer is hiring a Closing Deli Clerk to provide remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role involves retail tasks related to food products, customer service, and merchandising, and supports a fresh, welcoming, well-run store experience. Team members may work across Fresh departments, including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery, and help with other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Scheduling days are flexible, but availability is required on the three busiest sales days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and until 10:00 p.m. The starting rate is at least $14.50 per hour and is based on experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Responsibilities

Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
