About The Position

Closet Factory is seeking a creative and outgoing Designer/Sales Associate for an in-home sales role. This position focuses on designing and selling custom storage solutions, including closets, entertainment centers, and other home transformations. Designers have the flexibility to set their own schedules and will be provided with qualified, preset appointments. Closet Factory has been a leader in luxury closet systems for over 40 years and offers a supportive environment with ongoing training and mentorship.

Requirements

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Superior problem-solving ability.
• 2+ years sales experience, in-home sales experience a plus.
• Proficient working with computer programs.
• Must possess solid math skills.
• Self-starter that can work independently and thrive in a full commission environment.
• Strong spacial planning ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• A verifiable track record of sales goal achievement.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must reside in Westchester County, NY or Fairfield County, CT.
• A personal Windows based laptop computer.

Responsibilities

• Design, quote, and close on projects that will transform rooms into attractive and functional living spaces.
• Meet clients in their homes to understand their needs and present design solutions.
