About The Position

The Clocktower Coffee Supervisor will lead a team of up to 10-12 staff in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high hospitality and service standards. This role involves being a strong presence on the floor, ensuring tasks are completed, monitoring service standards, and staff grooming. The supervisor will collaborate with the event coordinator to execute F&B events, provide training and support to employees to achieve guest satisfaction, and communicate daily with the management team through logs and verbal updates. Additionally, the role includes managing employee success through one-on-ones and coaching, overseeing building maintenance, and ensuring risk management within the café. A high level of professionalism and grooming is expected at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant/cafe environment in a leadership role
  • Min 2yrs+ experience in F&B Leadership
  • High knowledge of computers and Toast systems (or other POS systems)
  • Must be 19 years old
  • Have a Serving it Right Certificate
  • Possess a strong ability to stay focused and organized in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in written and verbal correspondence
  • Data entry duties for financial reporting or menu printing
  • Communicate with the management team
  • High level of cash handling experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of up to 10-12 staff in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of hospitality and service standards.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, leading the team, ensuring assigned tasks are complete, monitoring service standards, and staff grooming.
  • Work with the event coordinator to execute all F&B events.
  • Provide training and support to all employees at the venue to achieve guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate with the Management team through writing in manager logs and also verbally on a daily basis.
  • Manage all aspects of employee success through one on ones and team coaching.
  • Be responsible for actioning building maintenance and attention to risk management in and around the café.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and grooming at all times.
  • Perform daily administrative duties relating to payroll, event management, ordering and requisitions.
  • Provide on the floor support to all employees to maintain guest satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts.
  • Supervise outlet while on shift.
  • Ensure staff are adhering to SWP& SJP training standards.
