Clinician - Maricopa Re-Entry Center
About The Position
SAGE Counseling’s Clinician provides therapy services at Arizona Department of Corrections facilities. The role is based at Maricopa Re-Entry Center, a transitional housing facility in North Phoenix for individuals re-entering the community. SAGE is contracted with the Arizona Department of Corrections to provide on-site substance abuse counseling. The position includes facilitating substance abuse groups with inmates. This is a full-time position with hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay depends on education, experience, and, for master’s-level clinicians, licensure level: bachelor’s-level clinicians may earn up to $55,000, and master’s-level clinicians may earn up to $71,000.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in criminal justice treatment services required.
- At least one year of clinical services experience, including group facilitation, required.
- Ability to obtain badging for a jail or prison setting, including completing a background check, drug test, consent to search, TB test, and fingerprint clearance card.

- Master’s degree preferred.
