PPGNHAIK•Anchorage, AK
•$46 - $99•Onsite

About The Position

The Clinician provides quality, confidential healthcare in a compassionate, professional, and culturally competent manner, following state law, PPGNHAIK medical standards and guidelines, organizational protocols, and current evidence-based standards of care. The role evaluates, diagnoses, and treats reproductive health concerns, including preventive care, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy, gender-affirming hormone care, and common gynecological conditions. Clinicians identify emergencies, follow up on abnormal findings and test results when designated, and seek consultation or make referrals when appropriate. The Clinician documents care in the electronic health record and supports revenue-cycle operations through accurate and timely charge entry, diagnosis assignment, and CPT coding. The role partners with the Health Center Manager to support care quality, team collaboration, patient experience, workflow, and operational goals, including visit-volume benchmarks. Unless otherwise requested by the Clinician Manager, the position is 100% clinical; additional administrative duties may be assigned as needed. Clinicians are assigned a level on the clinician ladder based on demonstrated proficiency. Level 2 and above clinicians serve as preceptors and mentors to newly hired clinicians and, with approval, external learners. Opportunities to develop additional clinical skills may be offered based on the clinician’s skills, learning, collaboration, and organizational needs. Each clinician has a designated health center home; some may have scheduled assignments at multiple locations, while float clinicians work at sites as assigned. The schedule is determined around health center needs.
