PPGNHAIK•Federal Way, WA
•$49 - $104•Onsite

About The Position

The Clinician provides confidential, compassionate, professional, and culturally competent healthcare in accordance with state law, scope of practice, PPGNHAIK medical standards and guidelines, organizational protocols, and current evidence-based care. Under the supervision and direction of the assigned Lead Clinician or Clinician Manager, the role examines, screens, diagnoses, and treats patients, and follows up on abnormal findings and test results when designated. The Clinician seeks consultation and makes appropriate referrals when care exceeds their scope or affiliate protocols require it. The Clinician serves as a day-to-day clinical leader in the health center, partnering with the Health Center Manager to support quality care, effective workflows, a collaborative team, positive patient experiences, and operational performance. The position is considered 100% clinical unless the Clinician Manager assigns administrative duties as needed. Clinicians are assigned a place on the clinician ladder according to demonstrated clinical proficiency. Level 2 and above clinicians may precept and mentor newly hired clinicians and, with approval, external learners. Additional skills and competencies may be offered based on the clinician’s existing skills, engagement in learning, team approach, and organizational needs. Each Clinician has a designated health center home. Some clinicians may have scheduled assignments at more than one location; Float Clinicians work at multiple sites as assigned. The position is full-time, non-exempt, and requires Saturdays. The role is based at the Federal Way Health Center.
