About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital’s ICU–Neuro is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses. The role involves communicating effectively with team members, patients, and visitors, and maintaining professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Additional duties may be assigned.

This is a full-time night position, scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with rotating days, weekends, and holidays. The position requires availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training, including two virtual orientation sessions and six classroom-style shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., virtual training modules, and on-unit shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
• Availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training.
