Clinical Technician 1 - Progressive Care Unit
About The Position
Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join its Progressive Care Unit. The role provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of registered nurses and involves communication with team members, patients, and visitors, while maintaining professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system. Additional duties may be assigned. The position is full-time, scheduled for days from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with varying days and rotating weekends and holidays. The employee must be available for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training, including two virtual orientation sessions from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, six classroom-style shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, virtual training modules, and on-unit shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Availability for six non-consecutive weeks of paid training.
