About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a full-time Clinical Supervisor for its detox and residential facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role supports the Clinical Director and manages the daily execution of the clinical program. The Clinical Supervisor helps maintain a warm, encouraging recovery environment, provides occasional group facilitation, and maintains a small client caseload. The role also oversees documentation compliance and supports Utilization Review to help secure treatment authorizations and support client retention. The Fort Wayne facility is a 100-bed residential center providing drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. The clinical team works alongside therapists, clinicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, group facilitators, and behavioral health technicians to provide compassionate and dignified care.
Requirements
- Current licensure necessary to practice in Indiana for this role; the posting lists LCAC, LCSW, LMFT, and LMHC.
- Efficient and driven, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills.
- Positive, warm, and dignified character that models recovery principles.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Three years of experience working with clients with chemical dependency or dual diagnoses preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support and assist the Clinical Director with relevant duties as necessary.
- Manage the daily execution of all aspects of the clinical program.
- Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and encouraging recovery environment.
- Facilitate groups occasionally and maintain a small client caseload.
- Provide consistent compliance oversight to ensure client documentation is complete and compliant.
- Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention throughout treatment.
