About The Position

Easterseals MORC is hiring a Clinical Supervisor for its Infant Mental Health program in Southfield. The role supervises clinicians and supports the delivery and oversight of services to individuals and families. The supervisor assigns and monitors staff caseloads, reviews cases and documentation, and helps staff develop their professional skills while ensuring records and paperwork follow applicable Medicaid, DCH, and Easterseals requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Full licensure in the relevant field, such as LMSW or LPC.
• Experience supervising clinicians.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals and families in a welcoming, hopeful, and empathetic manner, regardless of readiness or treatment phase.
• Assign and supervise the caseloads of direct-report staff.
• Support staff in managing caseloads efficiently.
• Review cases to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services.
• Conduct staff meetings to discuss strengths, outcomes, problem areas, and solutions.
• Help staff improve and update their professional skills by sharing information about conferences, seminars, new techniques, and relevant current or pending legislation.
• Orient, train, and develop new staff.
• Monitor case records, including signatures, follow-up, and referrals to community agencies to support accurate histories.
• Ensure paperwork is maintained according to Medicaid, DCH, and Easterseals guidelines, policies, and procedures.
