About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team and provides supervision of a unit’s nursing operations. In the absence of the Manager or Director, the Clinical Supervisor may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. The role works with a unit-specific patient population.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Either three years of experience in a clinical area, including at least one year in the area of specialty, or a bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing and two years of clinical-area experience, including at least one year in the area of specialty.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse, or a Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• Certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.

Nice To Haves

• Additional life support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
