About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for supporting through all necessary and effective means the mission of ensuring excellence in clinical services provided throughout campus programs, which includes but are not limited to individual, family, group, family groups and adjunctive programs. The Clinical Supervisor works closely with the Clinical Director of Residential Services in managing and monitoring the delivery of clinical services specifically for the Restore Program, ensuring that all clinical services provided are the highest standard of care and are informed by best practices in the field as well as innovative treatment approaches. The Clinical Supervisor is also responsible for assisting the Director and the campus leadership team in managing clinical practices and programming throughout the Restore program, including supporting new clinical programming for children and families within the Restore program, especially related to gender sensitive programming for the girls and evidence based treatment for children who have high functioning autism. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for ongoing supervision of clinicians and other service providers (such as case managers), addressing crises as they arise, ensuring Sanctuary and clinical tools are being used to address treatment goals, and ensuring that all related duties such as compliance to paperwork are met by supervisees.

Requirements

  • LCSW required, LCSW-R or LCSW-R eligible a plus, PhD and license in psychology also considered

Responsibilities

  • Effectively assists in the management, development, maintenance and delivery of clinical services
  • Works effectively with the Director to develop and implement clinical vision for clinical department on campus and manages assigned projects effectively
  • Assures adherence to clinical excellence through the provision of ongoing supervision of individual supervises and oversight of assigned clinical initiatives
  • Assists in monitoring the external environment for changes in laws, rules and regulations and integrates those changes into agency practices.
  • Is responsible for closely partnering with Clinical Director in enacting the strategic plan for department and support campus strategic plan
  • Effectively monitors clinical service delivery
  • Upholds and ensures adherence to standards of clinical performance, including timeliness of paperwork and meeting requirements of service delivery
  • Maintains and manages case assignments with the support of the Director
  • Supports Director in assuring clinicians’ timeliness of all reports and paperwork, including IEP, Summaries and other related clinical reports
  • Identify gaps in services and work with leadership to close gaps
  • Maintain systems to ensure documentation standards are met.
  • Completes and submits reports as needed.
  • Works effectively with campus teams to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Attends Treatment planning conferences regularly and models standard
  • Supports and collaborates on the leadership on evidence based on innovative programs specifically within the Restore Program
  • Support and assist in teaching milieu staff when needed
  • Supports clinical staff in their day-to-day management of cases
  • Supports clinical staff in identifying effective interventions, supporting family engagement, and developing effective treatment goals
  • Covers groups or cases when necessary
  • Provides support to the Director in the development and ongoing implementation of clinical or milieu programming
  • Work closely with the Director for residential to ensure that the clinical team has training, resources, supervision, and clear expectations in order for the clinicians to provide excellent and creative clinical services
  • Continue to explore, learn, and recommend new models of treatment as new information becomes available in treating specific populations
