Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Department, Evenings
About The Position
Piedmont Henry Emergency Department sees 75,000-90,000 visits per year and is licensed for 59 beds with a 3/4:1 Patient to RN Ratio. It is a Level III trauma center that performs triage and assessment of patient complaints, medical screening exams by qualified providers, and develops treatment plans. The department manages drug therapy for critically ill patients and provides patient discharge education. It is a fully accredited Stroke Center and recently added an 18-bed Cardiac Observation Unit that works closely with the ED. The multidisciplinary team includes ED MD, ED APP, ED RN, C-RN, Flow Coordinator, Unit Based Educator, RN, ED Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience, and Patient Access.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
- Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in assigned unit(s)
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
