Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Department, Evenings
About The Position
Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for its Emergency Department. The ED sees 75,000-90,000 visits per year and is licensed for 59 beds. It operates with a 3/4:1 Patient to RN Ratio and is a Level III trauma center. Key functions include triage and assessment of patient complaints, medical screening exams, appropriate drug therapy, management of critically ill patients, and patient discharge education. The department is a fully accredited Stroke Center and recently added an 18-bed Cardiac Observation Unit. The multidisciplinary team includes ED MD, ED APP, ED RN, C-RN, Flow Coordinator, Unit Based Educator, RN, ED Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience, and Patient Access.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting
- Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in assigned unit(s)
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire
