About The Position

The Piedmont Henry Emergency Department sees between 75,000-90,000 visits per year and is licensed for 59 beds. This Level III trauma center offers a 3/4:1 patient to RN ratio. The department is a Fully Accredited Stroke Center and recently added an 18-bed Cardiac Observation Unit that works closely with the ED. The multidisciplinary team in the ED includes: ED MD, ED APP, ED RN, C-RN, Flow Coordinator, Unit Based Educator, RN, ED Paramedics, Patient Care Technicians, Radiology staff, Respiratory staff, Patient Experience and Patient Access.

Requirements

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Required

PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) OR – BLS required only within 180 Days Required
